Eminem has recently confirmed to the public that his latest album, Relapse, will be headed for a 2009 release. His previous album (Encore, 2004) sold over 710,000 copies.
The rapper told MTV “We’re looking at first quarter next year [to release the album] which is probably, you know, January, February,” he said. “Now we’ve just got to go through everything, pick the best ones and, you know, put it out.”
“Times are hard,” stated 50 Cent, according to Interscope Records. “Everyone is trying to make the most of what they have. I want to give my fans something extra for their hard earned dollars. They’ll get a free bonus when they pick up the album.” 50 Cent’s fourth album Before I Self Destruct will be released sometime in (early) 2009.
